The second round of the Clyde Coast Mini League took place at the Galleon Centre in Kilmarnock. The Dunoon Team was depleted due to the Easter Holidays and only 13 swimmers travelled to the gala.
The numbers didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of the squad which were as follows (with number of swims in brackets);

Boys:
The swimmers gave it everything and although the team was not represented in 12 races out of 46 the team managed to achieve over 50 points a target set at the beginning of the gala. There was no lack of effort from this small squad of 13 who swam 69 swims counting the relays during the gala. At the end of the gala the Dunoon Team managed to create the loudest noise during their team chant! [Led by an enthusiastic Jim Anderson – editor]
Well done to our swimmers a great effort. Thanks to the coaches supporting the team on the day; Paula Colquhoun, Rhowan Fairman and Jim MacGillivray.
